We always came to know marriages in Hollywood style. Here is a list of Hollywood luminaries who had the shortest lived and unsuccessful marriages.
Kim Kardashain and Kris Humphries- The two tied the knot after 6 months of whirlwind romance but unfortunately their marriage lasted for just 72 days with Kardashian filing for divorce.
Pam Anderson and Kid Rock- The couple started dating each other in 2001, got engaged in 2002 and finally parted ways in 2003. The two again got together in July 2006. They tied the knot on 29th July, 2006 and parted ways on 27th November, 2006. Their marital life lasted for a brief period of just 4 months.
Britney Spears and Jason Alexander- Within just 55 hours of tying the knot with her childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004, Spears was once again single. She filed a complaint in the court pleading for divorce.
Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray- The former co-stars of One Tree Hill ended their relationship in 2005 just 5 months post marriage. Bush stated that she is a big and strong girl thereby adding that she respects other women in her position but certain things cannot be forgiven.
Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman- After dating each other for 8 months, Carmen and Rodman finally tied the knot on 14thNovember, 1998. But unfortunately their marriage lasted for just 6 days. After 6 days of their nuptial, Rodman filed for a divorce but later rescinded the claim. But Electra decided to part from Rodman and decided to file for divorce 6 months later.
Mario Lopez and Ali Landry- Mario and Ali called it quits just 2 weeks post wedding. The duo dated each other for 6 years prior to entering wedlock in 2004.
Charlie Sheen and Donna Peele- Sheen and Peele tied the knot on 3rd September, 1995. Sheen stated that Donna is an angel who has been sent from heaven for taking him through the remaining of his journey. But unfortunately their marriage did not last long. The two parted ways just 5 months post wedding with the actor stating that if one purchases a bad car it always breaks down.
Chris Kattan and Sunshine Tutt- The two dated each other for 2 years before finally deciding to tie the knot. But unfortunately things unravelled quickly and the two separated within 8 weeks of their marriage.
Colin Farrell and Amelia Warner- These Hollywood actors entered wedlock in Tahiti on 17th July, 2001. Unfortunately the couple decided to split just 4 months after marriage with Farrell citing the reason that they both were too young and the marriage took place too fast.
Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd- Lopez’s second wedding before Marc Anthony and after Ojani Noa was her shortest. She decided to split with Cris Judd just 4 months post marriage and after a short while began her relationship with Affleck.
Drew Barrymore and Tom Green- the two met each other in July 2000 when Barrymore invited Green for a cameo role in the sequel of Charlie’s Angels. The two entered wedlock on 7th July, 2001 and filed for divorce just 5 months later on 17th December, 2001.
Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds- The two started dating each other during fall of 2006 and got engaged the following year in July. The couple had a ceremonial wedding on 2008 New Year but within just 2 weeks decided to split, deciding to remain friends.
Helen Hunt and Hank Azaria- Hunt and Azaria dated each other for 5 years prior to tying the knot in July 2009. But within just 11 months of their marriage, Hunt filed for a divorce on grounds of irreconcilable differences.
Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Esposito- This Hollywood couple too had a short lived and unsuccessful marriage. The two parted ways just 4 months after their marriage.
Lisa Marie Presley and Nicolas Cage- Lisa is no stranger to short-lived romance. She had tied the knot with Michael Jackson for just 9 months prior to entering wedlock with Cage in 2002. But unfortunately within 3 months of their marriage the two parted ways.
Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney- The two decided to split ways just 4 months post marriage. The two released a robotic joint statement on their separation stating that miscommunication of the purpose of their wedding at the beginning is the sole reason leading to the annulment.
Ethel Merman and Ernest Borgnine- Ernest and Ethel tied the knot in 1964 and parted ways within just 4 weeks. Their wedding was a disaster right from the beginning. In 2009, Borgnine revealed that the two faced troubles with each other from their honeymoon days. Ernest till date has married 5 times. It was the singer’s fourth marriage.
Shannen Doherty and Ashley Hamilton- The two entered wedlock in 1993. At the time of marriage Hamilton was just 19 while Doherty was 22. The couple led a happy married life for just 2 weeks. Doherty filed for a divorce 5 months later.
