Catfight among leading actresses is not something new in Bollywood. In fact it is a part and parcel of every film industry. Here is a list of B’town’s 10 popular catfights.
An overview of the 10 catfights-
1) Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra: The two never shared a good rapport with one another. It was just lately the two ended up in a fight as Piggy Chops was delayed while practicing for a performance at an award function ate Bebo’s rehearsal time resulting in the latter threatening to walk out. King Khan who at that time was also present at the sets helped to handle the situation.
2) Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif: The two leading actresses who share one make-up man had a tiff over him. The make-up man was all set to leave for London for 15 days along with Anushka. Initially Katrina agreed with the arrangement but at the last moment did not allow him to go with Anushka thereby leaving her in a lurch.
3) Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif: Problems started between the two when Katrina and John were shooting for New York. The rumours of the two getting close to each other and developing a good rapport did not go well with the bong beauty as she was dating John then.
4) Sonakshi Sinha and Katrina Kaif: The two entered into a trifle only recently with the news of Sonakshi replacing Katrina in few brand endorsements. To clarify on her part, Sonakshi sent an SMS to Katrina to which the latter did not respond till date.
5) Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra: The two entered into a kind of battle in an award function. The two had a quarrel over being the last showstopper at the event. However, Priyanka allowed Katrina to make her entry last. The two are still at loggerheads.
6) Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor: Everyone is well aware of the catfight between Aishwarya and Sonam. It all started when Ash refused walking the Cannes red carpet with Sonam. Ash and Sonam are both L’Oreal’s brand ambassadors. Sonam even went to the extent of referring Ash as Aunty. Abhishek however has managed to help them patch-up.
7) Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut: Post release of Fashion, the two actresses of the film were pitted against each other with Priyanka stating of her being the lead actress in the film and not Kangana. Kangana was offended by this statement and since then all is not well between them.
Rani Mukherjee and Aishwarya Rai: The two were good friends till Rani accepted Chalte Chalte, a role which was initially offered to Ash. This resulted in a huge tiff between them. While Abhishek’s tying the knot with Ash resulted in a tiff between good friends Abhishek and Rani who at one point of time were known as dating each other.
9) Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta: The two best friends acted together in few films following which the tides changed. The two confessed to media of their no longer being best friends. However, things have settled now.
10) Kareena Kapoor and Amisha Patel: The two have started sharing cold vibes since Ameesha stepped into Kareena’s shoes in Kaho Naa..Pyaar Hai following the latter’s refusal.
