Mumbai- Now Priyanka Chopra will step into shoes of Deepika Padukone. According to the reports, Priyanka, who is on the seventh sky after 2 hit movies Agneepath and Don 2, will be acting in the sequel of Race.
Reports say that Race 2 producers have offered the lead role to Priyanka Chopra, which was earlier offered to Deepika Padukone. Mumbai Mirror reports that Ramesh Taurani’s Race 2 had already gone on floors but Deepika Padukone decided to walk out of the sequel to the 2008 thriller Race.
Reports indicate that with his ambitious project in jeopardy, Taurani has now asked Priyanka Chopra, to step into Deepika’s shoes. The producer has reportedly got positive response from Priyanka as the actress liked the script of the movie.
Reports say that this is the second time, when Taurani asked Priyanka after falling into jeopardy. In October 2011, when Deepika had informed the producers that her dates for Ayaan Mukerji’s film would clash with Race 2, Priyanka was summoned.
According to a source close to Priyanka Chopra, the actress will be meeting Taurani as soon as she returns. Priyanka is currently busy shooting for Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 3 in Hyderabad.
