Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is interested to do an item number in Salman Khan’s next coming movie Dabangg 2. Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz Khan, who is making the sequel of Dabangg has confirmed the report.
Talking to the Mumbai based newspaper, Arbaaz said: “We do have a song in Dabangg 2 but it is too premature to talk about it.”
He said further: “We would like to call it a popular song rather than an item song. Once we have recorded the song then we can take a decision accordingly.”
When asked, actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan said: “I am in conversation with Kareena about the song. She too is keen on doing it. We would be happy if she would do the song.”
He said: “Principally we have agreed but nothing is on paper. We need to work out certain things like availability.”
Dabangg 2 sees the return of Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. The shooting for the film is underway and it is expected to release by the end of the year.
