KARACHI: An explosion took place in Karachi’s Soldier Bazaar on Tuesday killing one person and injuring four others.
The blast occurred near Chandni Chowk at the crowded Soldier Bazaar in Karachi, which is the southern port city of Pakistan.
According to police, unidentified men hurled explosives in a garbage dump located close to a police station.
No one has claimed responsibility. The blast in Karachi today took place after two successive suicide attacks last week in Lahore city of Punjab which have been claimed by the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
DawnNews reported one woman was killed while another one was injured along with two children when the blast took place.
Cheepa rescue agency said that one woman was killed and two children were injured in the explosion.
