Turkey’s First Driverless Bus in Ankara (Video)

A self-driving bus took to the streets in Ankara for a test drive early this month and carried President Tayyip Erdogan to the presidential palace for a cabinet meeting.

Designed by Turkish engineers, the vehicle has a range of 300-kilometer (186 miles) and has a capacity to carry 50 passengers.

President Erdogan is promoting the locally made electric, self-steering bus as part of a “clean energy drive”.
