Hasina Wajid’s strict regime and totalitarian control was the cause of her downfall. HW was NOT A TRAITOR. She was dedicated and committed to the development of Bangladesh and took BD to great heights. The economy did extremely well.
Pakistan has been ruled for 30 years by the Sharifs and Bhuttos and Zardaris. In these 30 years Pakistan is way behind Bangladesh and India.
Despite many Martial Laws in Bangladesh, Hasina Wajid managed to focus on the economy and education and was successful in raising the per capita income and economic growth. Sharifs and Zardaris have NO VISION. These dynasties are committed to ELITIST control and their offsprings. Pakistan is totally bankrupt under the Two Plus Dynasties and their SYSTEM of loot and plunder’.
They have the full support of the present Institutions. The Bangladesh COAS is related to HW through his wife. All credit must be given to the BD Army for not going for a full fledged military operation which would have resulted in hundreds of thousands dead. The economy would have been destroyed.
Pakistan has LEARNT NO Lessons from the military operations in 1971 against own brethren and later. Military operation was carried out by Z A Bhutto in 1973 in Baluchistan. Military operation was carried out by Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif in Karachi. Military operations have been carried out in FATA etc. The rest is history.
To the best of my knowledge, Bangladesh has not carried out military operations against own citizens. The Police has been used mostly.
Hasina Wajid’s BLUNDERS are similar to what is happening in Pakistan now –April 2022 onwards. It is fascism and brutal suppression of dissent and opposition. Bangladesh has not accepted the HW tyranny despite ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT and progress.
Pakistan is suffering from ruthless and brutal suppression, arrests, torture, confinement in safe houses and picking up of dissenters and torturing them for changing loyalties and convictions. The people are not ready for sacrifices and the educated are not standing up against the “MASSIVE FORCE” PDM 1 and 2. Our eyes are on the Judges. They should restore Rule of law and Democracy.
